Today I’m rocking the skirt-over-pants trend. Actually, that’s too generous. I’m not really rocking it. I’m kind of butchering it. But I have a severe headache and thinking makes it worse, so it’s my not-going-to-think-about-my-outfit-today outfit.

No, I don’t look anywhere near as awesome as these girls looked on fall 2011 runways—seen at Haider Ackermann, Richard Chai Love, Balenciaga, and Vera Wang.

Oh, and if you couldn’t look at these images without cringing, I should warn you that this totally-90s trend continued on spring 2012 runways, too.

This trend is happening, people. There’s no escape.
