It seems I didn’t photograph the kitchen with the first stage of drywall, so consider “Day 13” a loose description.

Batt insulation in, and suddenly the house is quiet and cozy.
While the husband prepared for insulation and electrical, I painted a dresser we found on the side of the road.
Here’s the view of the enlarged kitchen window from the inside. With all the activity outside today, inside was quite busy too, as our contractor (and his daughter) replaced sheathing and prepared for the next phase of the project.
The husband was back on 1950s vinyl-floor duty today and did a GREAT job. The house is so pretty when it’s stripped down.
